Are the kennels and animal housing insulated?

Our standard animal housing units are made with pressure-treated timber, providing excellent durability and weather resistance. While they are not fully insulated by default, many customers add insulation, draught excluders, or thermal bedding for additional comfort. If you’re looking for pre-insulated kennels, our Composite Eco Dog Kennels range is a great alternative.

Can I build these kennels myself?

Most of our dog kennels and animal housing units are professionally installed at no extra cost by our team on delivery to ensure a perfect fit and finish. However, if you’re looking for a DIY option, our Express Kennels range is specifically designed for self-assembly, complete with pre-cut components and easy-to-follow instructions for a hassle-free build at home.

I recently had Benchmark Kennels come to my home, to assemble a shed in my back garden. I was extremely pleased with the service from both Brogan and Scott. They had excellent customer services, communicated well and kept me informed through the whole process. They got straight to work, I could tell the they took pride in their work and finished the product with high standards. They were a great team. I ordered this product from Ebay, Ebay themselves were not so accurate in their details regarding delivery.
The company themselves rang me the very next morning after placing my order to give the correct information and kept me updated. I was phoned the day before delivery to check everything was okay, I was also sent a text and a phone call on the day of delivery.
Both the fitters Brogan and Alens were very helpful, polite and friendly. They were efficient and installation was straightforward, they both cleared the area and removed all rubbish.
An excellent service from a lovely company, I would recommend them to anyone. The kennel looks great.

Had a 3 run kennel installed by Benchmarks and I’m so impressed. The communication was excellent and it was a very smooth process. Cat in the office was excellent and the assembly team both Liam & Jonny were brilliant, meticulous detail and very professional.
I’m very happy with my kennel and the service, great job!
Also definitely upgrade to the galvanised insulation pack, well worth it.

We had our 14 x 4ft Pent Duo Kennels built today, by the lovely Liam and Jonny. We are very impressed with the quality of the kennels and the workmanship that both Liam and Jonny did. Communication with Kat, ordering the kennels was painless and communications throughout were easy. Jonny and Liam arrived when they said they would, were polite, hardworking and tidied up after themselves. They even screwed on the solar light we bought for the kennels, which was kind of them. 5* from us!

What a fantastic service from Benchmark Kennels. All my many email and Facebook enquiries were answered swiftly and politely and the telephone calls all very friendly. We ordered our kennel and it was delivered and assembled by 3 friendly lads. The kennel itself, while not cheap is of great quality and will last many many years.
